When practicing the physical postures of yoga, it is important to understand that despite the muscle stretching, the exercises are based around the spine.  The yogic saying ‘youth resides in the spine’ speaks volumes!  When you take the time to focus on elongation through the spine, in combination with the six movements, you allow space to be created through the vertebra, flexibility through the body, strength to your core and detoxification of the organs.  Using this theory of asanas brings strength and resilience to the whole body, adding a new found youth to your life.

I invite you to join us for a gentle experience in our yoga classes, in Cobourg, Ontario.  We also host women’s day retreats that focus on yoga, meditation, self-care and reconnecting to you.
