Why do yoga?

If you are a beginner please do not be intimidated by the yoga fad that has swept the nation!

Find a class that is suited to your needs, and yoga will bring so many benefits to your life.  With the right teacher, yoga can be modified for anybody.  Remember yoga is more then just physical exercises.  A well rounded hatha yoga class will include breathing exercises (pranayama), a variety of stretches (asana) and a final relaxation (sivasana).

Here are a few reasons to try a gentle hatha yoga class:

There are so many different types of yoga it can seem confusing, overwhelming or just hard to get started.  If you try a class that doesn’t resonate for you do not give up!  Keep looking until you find a class that brings you the most enjoyment.
