Gentle Yoga Videos Online

Last year I had a vision to build an online yoga library, with classes and courses available for sale. I have seen countless other yoga teachers do this, and very successfully. I’ve purchased and participated in many myself: Seane Corn and Susi Hately are two of my favourite examples. The idea of this was so clear and simple. The reality though? Not so clear and simple.

I spent so much time researching platforms that I became overwhelmed in information. My original plan was to use Vimeo, I set up a free account, and then couldn’t figure out how to use it. I looked into “Mind and Body” apps, and “Daily Om”… but they all need clients to sign up with a membership and account. They were way more complicated than anything I needed. I discovered an online yoga teacher who raves about “offering tree” an online platform ideal for yoga teachers. I attempted that free account, and couldn’t get beyond the “American to Canadian” prices, and a third-party account was needed to deal with the money, so it also started to feel cumbersome. I realized this was all too complicated, I just need a simple sales platform where I can upload my videos, and sell them to students without them needing an account or membership. After researching a variety of those platforms (Amazon, Etsy, Etc.)… I have finally landed on Shopify. It has the best reviews, and is used globally by businesses around the world. I feel like I can trust it.

So Now What?

In my monthly yoga newsletters I have been saying I plan on having yoga videos online by the end of June 2026 (that is when I take a break from live online classes, over the summer). This is still the goal, fingers crossed! Once I have a few classes and meditations uploaded I will expand that library to include:

  • Yoga for Chronic Pain
  • Yoga For Artists & Creatives
  • Pre-natal Yoga
  • Chair Yoga
  • Restorative Yoga
  • Yoga Nidra Meditation
  • 7-video series of Yoga for the Chakras

Are these classes you’d be interested in attending online live as well? Let me know in the comments!

Be sure to register for my monthly newsletter too, to get more regular updates on the progress of these videos and classes: The Gentle Way of Hatha.

Thank you for being a part of this amazing yoga community.
