Yoga 2026

What to expect in the year ahead?

As many of you know this yoga business continues to grow and change. Change is inevitable when you’ve been in business for over 20-years and (barely) survived a pandemic! I want to thank all of you who have stuck through all the moves, the lock downs, and the general ups and downs of LIFE!

Moving forward, the in-person classes will stay the same (I have a wait list too, if you are interested in joining us email me, Jenni, at gentle_hatha@live.com), and I hope to grow the online class attendance more. The biggest “ad on” to the business will be pre-recorded videos available for sale online. You will be able to purchase individual yoga classes, series of classes, and a variety of “workshop” style lessons. The best part is, access is available to these from anywhere in the world (where you have a computer and internet).

This is a huge learning curve for me! This means new equipment, weeks of recording, then learning to edit and upload, and master a new platform: Vimeo. This seems to be the most popular platform amongst teachers I have worked with online, so I trust it, and hope you will too!

I expect this whole project to take around 6-months, with the first series of classes to be released by summer 2026 (this is ideal for online students, as I take a break from live classes during July and August). Once it’s rolled out, I’ll look at membership options too. I will always be “The Gentle Way of Hatha” but as I expand to the digital world, I have started rebranding as “Online Yoga Canada” so don’t be surprised when you see that name surfacing more in future posts.
