“Online Local” Yoga Classes for Northumberland County

I have been teaching yoga throughout Northumberland County for over 20-years! It wasn’t until the pandemic hit that I had to transfer my in-person classes to online classes. What surprised me was, after the lock downs passed, there were many people who preferred online classes, and I was encouraged to continue with them. This has changed the face of my business!

Since 2020 I have continued with some online classes, and more recently am actively trying to grow the online presence. I have a YouTube channel, and am working on getting a vimeo collection online for memberships and video purchases (should be ready by June 2026). “Online Yoga Canada” is my new handle for many of my social media platforms, but truly I feel my classes are more “online local” – for people close to home who may not be able to make it out to a regular in-person class (or to attend until a space opens in-person in Port Hope).

If you are new to online classes and are unsure you want to commit, I offer a “one class free pass” to new online students. This means you can try a class with no strings attached! Please contact me directly if you would like to join us one Friday at 10am via zoom. Email, Jenni, at gentle_hatha@live.com. You can also sign up for my yoga newsletter to stay up to date on classes, workshops, and YouTube videos.

My next blog will be about how to make the most of your home practice, through online yoga classes. Stay tuned!
