Blogging seems to be harder to get to these days; my last post was in November 2022! This made me think, I should at least try to post quarterly business updates on my website (if you want more regular updates email me at gentle_hatha@live.com and I can add you to my yoga newsletter).
Most of you know I am a bit of a “jack of all trades” kinda gal… since November I co-hosted “Empowering The Spirit” workshop with Alison Clarke, I was an art vendor at a Christmas Market in Port Hope, and I’ve been working as a Child and Youth Worker in our local school board. I’m also the mom of a crafty kid, who has me helping with his own creative ventures (he’s trying to start his own film biz, and most recently we made a “Thomas The Tank Engine” puppet)… the fun never ends around here!

As much as I love it all, it can be a bit much at times. I’ve been diligent about my morning ritual of sitting and meditating; but what I have not had is the time and space to dive deep into any of my own business dreams and visions. I’ve been missing (and not prioritizing) my daily nature walks, or my own creative pursuits. I was starting to feel like I was living on adrenaline again. Time to slow it all down!
Cue March Break! I’m going to take this time to focus a bit on my own art. In May I will be adding another yoga class to the schedule (Thursday mornings in Port Hope), and this summer I hope to host a meditation workshop (something I haven’t offered in years)! I’m also going to be a vendor at the Cobourg Waterfront Festival with a group of artists in July.
I hope you can take some time to pursue what is important to you soon too! Namaste ~
