Life Shifts…

“Middle-aged single-mom diagnosed with fibromyalgia teaching yoga in her messy living room.” Catchy, right?

I have really been mulling over the direction my business needs to take, to support my optimum well-being. Adjusting to this fibromyalgia diagnosis has not been easy. After years of “good days” and more “bad days” it all makes sense. But now what?

As my body forces me to slow down, I know it’s about balance. Finding a daily routine I can stick to, that includes movement and rest. A good sleep routine, and anti-inflammatory diet. Get outside. Hydrate. Sounds easy, but I am finding it very challenging. One needs to make a living, wants to feel joy, be able to socialize without days of pain afterwards.

Yoga has been such a blessing. Likely it is what prevented this diagnosis earlier in my life! I will always teach. This said, I will likely have to change the schedule between summer and fall, 2025. So stay tuned for those updates…

In the meantime I have been playing with ideas of how to grow and promote my online classes. Did the opening tag line in this post make you laugh or cry? Let me know in the comments below.
