I work as a registered massage therapist, focusing on mobile massage. I found there was a niche market for people who either can’t drive or don’t wish to drive after having a massage.

Massage Therapy is a 3 year college course. After graduation you have to pass a written exam as well as a board exam (stations with examiners that mark you on techniques, interviews, remedial care, etc). After passing both exams you register with your governing board. For Ontario it is the CMTO. Not all provinces are registered, but with time, they will be.

I have always found joy in working with the public and doing what I can to help others. I have worked in both spa and multidisciplinary settings and loved both. Massage offers a multitude of benefits. Most people just think it’s for relaxation, but there is so much more than that!

Here’s a list of how massage might benefit you:

  • increase circulation, serotonin and oxygen levels in the blood.
  • It can aid in digestion, lower tension, muscle toxins and the effects of chronic pain.
  • Improve sleep, flexibility and your overall well being.
  • Massage is for everyone!

Please don’t be shy, feel free to contact me with any questions, or to book your massage!

  1. Hi Caitlin, thanks for sharing. I’m a RMT and have my own mobile massage business in Nova Scotia, Canada. Its great to see this service available in other parts of the country. The demand for mobile massage therapy is on the rise with our ageing population, and with all the
hassle and stresses like bad weather, angry drivers, one-way streets and parking it just makes it that much more convenient.

    Best Regards
