I’ve experienced crippling anxiety myself, in 2000 it was at it’s peak and it interfered with my daily life. The turning point for me was hypnosis. The thought of it scared me but I knew and trusted the hypnotis; and at that point of my life, I was at my breaking point, I was willing to try anything.

It changed my life. After the hypnosis, I have never experienced anxiety like that again. I’ve experienced anxious feelings, but we all do. This is what I wanted to do for other people. It took 15 years before the time was right and I became a certified clinical hypnotist.

After a warm welcome, we sit down and talk about what you here for. I will ask you some questions to get to know you better and how to help you during the hypnosis.

Before you get comfortable in the hypnosis chair, I will explain more about hypnosis and answer any questions you might have. Once you are comfortable in the chair and you feel ready, we start.

The most simple way to explain is, I compare it to going into a guided meditation (same brainwaves, just a deeper level). You are fully aware, fully in control. Once you are in a hypnotic state, your conscious mind is quiet and your subconscious is fully open. Open to receive positive messages to change behaviors, feelings and/or thoughts you want to change.

After I count you out of hypnosis, we discus the session and the coming week. I hear from clients afterwards how relaxing it was. They feel relaxed and energized at the same time.

Throughout the course of your life, your subconscious mind stores different beliefs that you accept about yourself and the world. Some of them are positive empowering beliefs, and others are negative limiting beliefs.

By addressing the subconscious mind the hypnotist can help you change the behaviors, feelings and thoughts that you want to change by using positive language. This can greatly reduce the felt stress of changing unhealthy habits to healthier habits.

A lot of people are nervous coming in for their first session. There is still a lot of misconception about hypnosis out there. I won’t make you cluck like a chicken, you won’t lose consciousness, nor do you lose control.

Hypnosis can help with all kinds of things. The most known is becoming smoke free, weight management and stress management. I’ve seen people for insomnia, anxiety, nail biting, phobia’s/fears, self-esteem, studying, anger and forgiveness to just name a few.

I’m also a certified pediatric hypnotist for children 4 and up. Working with children is totally different from adults. No session is the same. Hypnosis for children can be very effective. They are receptive and haven’t been conditioned for years like adults. Children have a vivid imagination, which makes it easier to access the subconscious mind and bring the desired changes.

Hypnosis can be an effective treatment for many issues like stress, anxiety, self-esteem issues, school struggles, fear of doctors, bed wetting and much more.

I’ve also done a course for Past Life Regression. During a session you find out what has been and how it can help you in the present life. Whether the stories are real memories as a result from this type of regression or a result of active imagination, they are always relevant and life altering. Past Life stories tend to have a strong impact on the present life. This can bring you understanding and healing to old patterns held in this life. This session is taped and you get a copy with you.

To become a certified clinical hypnotist it includes 100 hrs of classroom, exam and 4 case studies. The pediatric course was a 10 hr course in Toronto. The course for past life regression was 2 days.

Every day I am excited and still amazed how hypnosis can change lives. Check out these testimonials from others. All this in a relaxing way, without side effects. I love it!

  1. Very interesting, Jenni. When I went to my psychotherapist for the first time back in 1961 in Los Angeles, he asked me what I expected from him. I said that I had this fantasy that he would hypnotise me and all my anxieties would immediately go away. He said, “You’re right….that’s a fantasy.” A lot has changed since the sixties. Of course, I doubt that she can rid people of anxieties with one hypnotic session. George

    1. Yes George you’re right, it often takes more then one session! And she can’t remove the causes of the anxiety, just reprograms how we react to them. Many people have had great success with hypnosis!
